Starter Unit 1 Good morning!
Teaching and Learning Goals:
1. 能争取使用下列词汇: good, morning, afternoon, evening, hi , hello, how, are, you, am, fine, thanks, OK, CD, HB, BBC.
2. 争取使用下列常用语句:Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! How are you? I’m fine, thanks. I’m OK.
3. 能认读下列词汇:Alice, Bob, Cindy, Dale, Eric, Frank, Grace, Helen.
Teaching and learning steps
Step 1 Warming-up
Can you sing the alphabet song? Let’s sing it together!
Now can you sing the song: Good morning? Play the song(ps4). This is important knowledge in our class.
Show them learning goals.
(设计意图:复习学的字母,导入新课的重点,展示目标。既激发学生兴趣,又让学生明确这节课的学习目标)

2. Open your books to Page 94, read the new words by yourselves according to the sounds. Note the difficult words.
(设计意图:学生先根据音标自己试读单词,将难读的或无法读出的单词标注出来。这样让学生先自己试一试,以便他们发现自己的弱点)
3. Listen to the tape and read after it for three times.
(设计意图:先听后跟读自觉订正自己的错误读音。再自己读。)
4. Read the new words in your groups. Read the new words in personal, the others correct the pronunciation. Then show your pronunciation to other groups.
(每一组挑选一个中等生朗读单词,其他同学纠正发音。然后每一组抽后进生展示自己的读音,其他组给予指正)
5. Read after the tape again.
6.Read aloud and the teacher walks around to see whether students have any questions. (设计意图:该步骤能有效培养学生个人识读单词的学习习惯,这是学习单词的重要一步;能培养学生自主、探究和合作学习的能力。首先学生自己根据音标识读单词,并标出识读时有困难的单词。接着听后读,自己订正错误。然后两人一组或以小组为单位解决遇到的困难。然后找几个同学读单词,请好学生先纠正,还有问题,教师再更正。最后让学生再跟录音读,错误读音相对减少。 )

5. After learning the English names, ask them to choose one name for themselves and say, I’m….

Step 4 Make up the story
Please look at the story, find out words you know, guess the main idea of the story.
Alice, Cindy, Grace and Helen are girls. Bob, Dale, Eric and Frank are boys. One day in the morning, Alice goes to buy pencils called HB and CD about BBC. She meets Bob, Cindy and Dale. “Good morning!”Alice says to them. “Hi/Hello!”they say. In the afternoon, Eric meets Frank. They say,“Good afternoon!” In the evening, they all go to a party.They meet Grace and say “ Good evening!”to each other. “How are you?”they see Helen. “I’m fine, thinks, and you?”Helen greats. “OK, thank you.” they answer. After party, “Good night!”they say to each other.

________________常用于早晨或上午(中午12点之前)向他人问候。Good afternoon! 译为 _____________ Good evening! 译为_______ 熟人及朋友间常用Morning!/Afternoon!/Evening!问候。还可以用“_______”或“________”来打招呼。问身体健康状况用“__________”回答用I’m fine/OK, thanks. 或Fine, _____(谢谢你).英语中,句子书写注意:句首字母大写, 还要注意标点符号。“我是……”用_I_______“你是……”用You_________

不足之处:
学生所学英语较少,所以应用英语编故事较难。
使用建议:
如果时间有限,建议编故事,部分使用汉语。
