The Frame-work(框架) of Our Body
If you are asked what your body is made of, you will probably say that it is made of flesh(肌肉) and bones, and covered with skin. You also know about the blood which runs through it, and that there is an important part which we 51 the brain.
But the flesh and the bones make up the 52 part of the body, and we have a
great deal to learn about them. People get the general idea of the appearance( 外观) of
both flesh and bone from the parts of 53 which you see in the butcher’s shop, or which you get on your plate at dinner.
Bone is hard, and of a white color. Actually, it looks more like a piece of wood or stone than a part of a living animal. But bone is a real 54 of living body, and it grows along with the body. If a man breaks the bone of his arm or his leg, it should be 55
fixed(固定), to prevent the broken parts from 56 out of their proper place. Then, in a few weeks the bone grows together again and becomes quite strong.
The bones are connected together by different joints(关节). They form the frame-work
of the body, and give it strength 57 it in proper shape. Some animals, like worms, don’t have this frame-work, 58 others, like shell-fish, have a kind of hard covering outside.
The most important 59 of the bones is the back-bone(脊椎). It is so important
that scientists divide all animals into two classes-those which have a back-bone, and those which have none. All the higher animals, 60 man, have a back-bone.

Recently,a solar powered(太阳能动力的)plane took to the sky for the first time. It had passed an important test on the way to travel around the world. The plane took off from an airport in Switzerland at 45km an hour. It slowly rose above the fields and into the sky. “There has never been an airplane of that kind that could fly — never an airplane so big, so light, using so little energy,” said Bertrand Piccard, a leader of the project.
During the 90-minute flight, the plane did several turns. It climbed nearly 1.6k above the countryside. Engineers plan to test a night flight before July. Then they will use the results of the tests to build a second plane. They plan to travel around the world in that plane in the future.
The plane flies at 70 km an hour. That is faster than a bike and slower than a car. Piccard and pilot Andre Borschberg will take the plane around the world. The pilots will keep the plane in the air for up to five days at a time. We want to fly it day and night with

Happiness is for everyone. You dont need to care about those people who have beautiful houses with large gardens and swimming pools or those who have nice cars and a lot of money and so on. Why? Because those who have big houses may often feel lonely and those who have cars may want to walk on the country roads at their free time. In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in trouble at school, your friends will help you, when you study hard on your lessons, your parents are always taking good care of your life and your health; when you get success, your friends will say congratulations to you; when you do something wrong, people around you will help you to correct it. And when you do something good to others, you will feel happy, too. All these are your happiness. If you notice a bit of them, you can see that happiness is always around you.
Happiness is not the same as money. It is a feeling of your heart. When you are poor, you can also say you are very happy, because you have something else that cant be bought with money. When you meet with difficulties, you can say loudly you are very happy, because you have more chances to challenge yourself. So you cannot always say you are poor and you have bad luck. As the saying goes, life is like a revolving door, when it closes, it also opens. If you take every chance you get, you can be a happy and lucky person.

Though you are a teenager now, there will finally come a time when you start to earn (赚) money. While it may be fun to have your own money to spend, it can also be difficult trying to manage it properly. Here are some tips on how to manage your money.
Use your money wisely
Most teenagers earn money for everyday use, or because they are saving up for something. So when they receive their money, they must first decide what they want to do with it. However, try to avoid the temptation ( 诱 惑 ) to spend it all in one go ( 一 口 气)! Remember: Money takes a long time to earn, but it goes very quickly.
Bank your savings
The money you don’t need can be saved at home or in a bank. If you want to save your money at home, get yourself a piggy bank or something else to keep your money in. The other choice is to save your money in a bank. One of the advantages is that you can earn interest (利息) on it.
Use the money to make money
Rather than saving your money at home or in a bank, you can use the money you earn to invest ( 投 资 ) in things to make more money. For example, if you are selling something around your neighborhood, you could pay someone else to sell your things in their neighborhood. This way, by spending a little, you can make a lot.
